Travel Information
The Retreat is located approximately 70km (1 hour drive) from Malaga Airport. Although we don't run our own airline you will find low cost flights to Malaga are readily available from most UK airports
Transfers
Free of charge providing you arrive and depart on the same flight as the main group. Otherwise, a taxi is approximately 45 euros each way and car hire is readily available at the airport.
Directions
The Retreat is easy to locate if you are travelling independently;
- From Malaga airport follow signs to Malaga.
- 4km from Airport join N340/E15 towards Palacio de Ferais, Motril, Antequera.
- 47km from Airport take exit 272, onto C/A335 towards Velez-Malaga, Vinuela, Colmenar.
- Stay on this road for 6.3km (over 2 roundabouts). Shortly having past the Repsol Garage on your right, take a left (By Cruz restaurant) towards Benamargosa, Comares, Cutar. MA 145.
- Follow this road for 12km, passing through Triana and Benamargosa.
- Take a left signposted 'Comares 7km' MA 169
- After 5km take a left (by the side of the bus shelter) towards Alqueria, DO NOT take the first left marked "Huerta Baja". Follow the road and at the next sign (approx 4 mins) follow sign to "Los Gomez Los Marines"
- The road drops around 2 hairpin bends, 100m from the second hairpin is a farmhouse on the right. As you approach the bend past this farmhouse slow down and park. You have arrived.
